About

. . .

Glass Gallery by Wong Edan is a technical publication run by Azzar Budiyanto, a freelance full-stack and embedded systems engineer based in Jakarta. The site collects long-form writing about infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, AI, and IoT — the systems that run quietly underneath everyday software.

What You Will Find Here

  • Long-form engineering essays on Linux, cloud, distributed systems, and self-hosting.
  • Analysis of Indonesian news — politics, economy, energy, and disasters — from an engineering point of view.
  • Writing on AI and research infrastructure: language models, agents, and the hardware underneath.
  • Security and IoT work: hardening systems, embedded hardware, and the boundary where software meets electronics.

How It Is Written

Articles are written in the site’s usual voice, the one signed Wong Edan: technical where the topic is technical, and direct about what is known and what is not. Claims come from sources, links are included for concrete statements, and nothing is invented to fill a gap. If a fact cannot be verified, the article says so instead of guessing.
